Dwell magazine, known for its superb architecture and design features, is founded by Lara Hedberg Deam. As the founder of architecture and design magazine, Lara does live up to people’s expectations in her grand Californian home with her architect husband, Chris Deam, and their two children. The house, found in Mill Valley, was renovated by her husband not long ago. According to Chris, they wanted to have an individual space for each family member. This includes a home office for Lara and Chris, as well as spaces for their two kids, and a cozy room where the family can watch television and just spend time with one another. The home plans developed consisted of interior and exterior connections. In fact, the door opening to the backyard has its own groundwork beneath the pivot point.
