The bedroom is one of the most personal rooms found in a house. Unlike common rooms that shared by other people, the bedroom is reserved only for those who sleep in it. And that’s why designing bedrooms are fun – it entails a more personal touch and represents the personality of the person who sleeps there. Since it is where one sleeps and peacefully dreams, the bedroom design should be styled not only as one’s own personal space, but also as an area of relaxation.

Modern Bedrooms
The trend these days include floor to ceiling windows that allows one to enjoy the view outside – whether it be a busy city, a blooming garden, or simply Mother Earth. In addition to these huge windows, king-sized beds, colorful wallpapers and abstract paintings also scream out the contemporary style.

Relax and Rejuvenate
For a stressful day, one might feel better immediately after arriving at home and sleeping away the day’s troubles in a bedroom painted with neutral colors, fluffy duvet, and rooms with higher ceilings for good air flow.

As One’s Own Personal Space
To match the personality and attitude of the bedroom owner, the design would most likely be decorated with a theme. For instance, a beach lover might go for straw furniture, seashells and message-in-a-bottle decorations. Those who adore vintage will most likely go for floral bedspreads and pillowcases, antique mirrors and cabinets, and lots of lace.
