A major problem for living in city apartments is space. Finding the right furniture for a compact space is hard particularly when one plans to raise a family in their new home. Most families have more than one child so the best way to maximize a children’s room is to use space saving beds.
Bunk beds are the common space saving beds for families with more than one child. Children would need their personal space with a lot of floor area to play in or a comfortable location to do their homework. Furniture stores have designs now that have built-in storage space for their clothes and some even have built in tables to use for studying. Some bunk beds also have built in shelves on one side to use as a bookshelf or storage for toys. Keep a theme in mind to make the living space more personal. Some themes you may use are a princess theme where the bunk bed is shaped like a tower or castle, a pirate ship theme where the beds could be decorated with ropes and have the child’s imagination go wild.
