Home library is not a common sight since not all people can afford building one. For the lucky ones, their library might be the best place and perhaps, it is also the most quiet and relaxing room for them. 

 

Though expensive, having a home library is very fulfilling. It combines the comfort and relaxing ambiance of a home to the modern, enriching, and educational feel of a library. In this place, you can grow mentally and spiritually.

Inside the library, the most important part is of course the bookshelves. People pay particular attention to its structure and design. It is important that this is built in a safe place. An elevated area is an ideal one. Its design is also crucial because this will set the ambiance of the library. Warm, cool, and relaxing colors are very appropriate in the library since these colors can boost our thinking capacity. 

 

Most home libraries also have a reading nook. This is the place where one can relax while reading an interesting book. Nook added extra comfort in your reading experience. 

 

Lighting is also very important. It is completely unimaginable to read in a dark place, that is why, a good source of light is a must in a home library.

Generally, a good home library design satisfies all points above. But aside those, intricate designs, well-organized shelf, and extra decorations like paintings, plants, poles, and carpet are also found in an elegant well-built home library.
