The living room is the area of the house where visitors are entertained. It is also the part of the house wherein families gather to spend time with one another. The interior design living room should focus on promoting hospitality and maintaining the simplicity of the house while at the same time providing enough space and furniture to accommodate the guests.

The living room is one of the hardest areas of the house to decorate because of the multiple ideas that a person can come up with. A better decision can be taken from looking at pictures and images which show similarities to the ideal living room design. 

 

Ideas for a living room design should be composed of simplicity and functionality. Simplicity is achieved by using minimal low furniture, modular sofas and arranging them so as to have a full view of the living room.

Functionality is taken from abstract lighting sources, fans, and lamps which provide the components necessary in achieving comfort and hospitality. The furniture should be adequately spaced to promote the spacious area of the living room. Also, a corner may be allotted for a low sofa which is perfect for visitors who enjoy reading a book.
