Steve Burns’ Brooklyn Residence
By : Abd. Mudeffar
The new bachelor pad of former Blue’ Clues host Steve Burns is a masterpiece of Mesh Architectures. The 2100-square floor area of the Brooklyn residence is well-suited for the former host’s lifestyle for the enjoyment of his guests. The house has three main rooms – the living room-slash-kitchen, the master bedroom, and the bathroom.
The living room is a friendly reception area that includes an L-shaped gray sofa and a round coffee table where the guests can relax and enjoy refreshments which can be prepared within a few steps away. The kitchen, which is also found in the living room, includes olive-green painted cupboards, a stove, and a dining area.
Upstairs is the master bedroom, where the owner prefers to keep it minimal with few decorations, only a guitar for his newly-found passion in music, as well as a few essential items located in a built-in wooden shelf. Speaking of woods, the room is bordered by wooden planks, even the bed is seated on a wooden platform.
Each room has its own entryway to a private courtyard, wherein the deck is made entirely out of recovered Coney Island planks. The courtyard was structured to allow the guests to enjoy the fresh air. Upstairs, a similar area can be found: a balcony with flooring made out of wooden planks, and two comfortable chairs where one can sit on and relax all day long.
